Hidden within the serenity of Santa Barbara, CA you’ll find a new world-class recording and mixing facility, Playback Recording Studio. The name is familiar; it’s the same name that its owner, Tucker Bodine, used when he opened his first studio in New York City on the East Coast. In 2009, Tucker completed the new West Coast Playback Recording Studio, which has now been honored with a TEC Award in 2009 for outstanding creative achievement in studio design.
Tucker Bodine began his audio career at SAE Institute’s original U.S. campus in New York City. After graduation he quickly went to work in New York prior to deciding to make it on his own and start the first Playback Recording Studio. more
Vincent di Pasquale shares insider secrets and techniques that have made him one of the top remixers in the music industry at SAE Institute’s Atlanta campus.
Witness a very special Remixing Seminar hosted by multi-platinum producer and remixer Vincent di Pasquale, SAE Atlanta, & Euphonix. Vincent will be guiding attendees through elementary and advanced remixing techniques using Logic Pro and the Euphonix Artist Series Control Surfaces.
Vincent has produced and remixed songs for artists such as Madonna, Nelly Furtado, Mariah Carey and many others. SAE campuses in the US are offering a series of free workshops open to the public between May 22nd and June 5th. Learn from faculty and guest lecturers on topics ranging from Remixing to Final Cut Pro.
SAE Institute prides itself in providing quality hands-on training to students in multiple disciplines including audio engineering, digital film production, animation and web design. Students work on industry standard equipment while recording, editing and creating media whether it be songs, films, or animation. Once again, in late May and early June, SAE is offering free workshops and seminars and is inviting public to attend.

Part three of the Bryan-Michael Cox music production seminar, and a live feed from the state-wide SAE Nashville Battle of the Bands finalists performance.
Every month, there are literally dozens of production seminars, film and music events that showcase SAE Institute’s friends and faculty around the globe. Since the launch of the live web cast project, SAE-LIVE!, the global educator has been able to give the public a glimpse into the world that is SAE Institute. In continuation of this theme, SAE has announced to new music web casts taking place in early May, 2009: The Bryan-Michael Cox music production seminar from the Atlanta campus, and the finalists performance of the state-wide SAE Nashville Battle of the Bands. more
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, FEBRUARY 23, 2009 — There are a finite number of players in the media career training world, and now two of the big fish are combining their knowledge to bring career training to new heights. Tom Misner, President and founder of SAE Institute of Technology has announced Gary Platt, co-founder of Full Sail University, The Recording Workshop, and Ex’pression College as the VP of Academics and Regulatory Compliance for SAE campuses in North America.
Tom Misner acknowledges the uniqueness of the new relationship, “At first I’m sure people will look at Gary joining SAE and pause to think about the impact of it. It’s pretty big with all the history we both have in education, and that’s one reason we like the idea.
