Featuring a clean, unencumbered layout, the new website is easy to navigate and it provides a wealth of audiovisual materials—enabling existing and prospective customers alike to get the most out of their microphone investment. The re-designed Royer Labs website is a terrific tool for learning which Royer ribbon microphone is best suited to a specific application. When researching a product, site visitors are now presented with various awards that product has received, published product reviews, applications the microphone is best suited for and, of course, the microphone’s cutsheet and manual. Of particular note, there is a new Audio Samples feature that enables one to hear selected portions of a mix, followed by the isolated Royer ribbon tracks. This new feature enables one to hear actual recordings made with the microphones along with information about the microphone’s placement and other equipment integral to the recording. Equally significant, each main section—Studio Microphones and Live Microphones—provides high profile user quotes, references to projects/acts where the microphone was deployed, plus links to images.
