Ultrasone Unleashes Zino - The World’s Best Sounding & Safest Portable Headphones

Available exclusively at Amazon.com in June, new supra aural headphones deliver outstanding acoustic performance for mobile listening applications

Wildomar, Calif. ultrasone-zino.jpg– Ultrasone Inc., distributor for German headphone manufacturer Ultrasone AG, introduces a new portable headphone called Zino. Designed for use with iPods, MP3 players and other portable music players, Ultrasone’s Zino features the company’s patented S-Logic™ and ULE™ safe listening technologies in an ultra-mobile design.

Ultrasone has given the Zino a sleek, modern look with gunmetal black, brushed aluminum ear cups and silver colored diamond-cut aluminum nameplates. Even though the Zino was designed for mobile applications, it features two powerful 40mm gold plated drivers, which most commonly are found in full-sized studio headphones. The Zino’s foldable design allows for easy storage and safe transportation in the included hard carrying case.

Despite its small size, the Zino utilizes Ultrasone’s patented S-Logic™ technology. Rather than directing the sound to the listener’s ear canal, as most conventional headphones do, S-Logic technology employs decentralized drivers that direct audio to the listener’s outer ear. This technology not only gives the user a natural surround experience in a stereo headphone by utilizing the ear’s anatomy, but it also reduces sound pressure on the eardrums by an astonishing 40%.

Additionally, the Zino features MU-Metal shielding (ULE technology) that reduces the amount of radiation directed to the listener by up to 98%, as compared to conventional headphones.

Zino Technical Specifications

“The combination of eye-catching aesthetics, phenomenal sound and convenient portability makes Zino the best mobile headphones Ultrasone has ever created,” said Paul Taylor, President of Ultrasone Inc. “Music lovers, concerned about the effects that ear buds have on their hearing, will be glad to know a safer and better sounding headphone solution is here.”

The Art of the Remix Training Course Now Shipping

Interactive remixing course with Vincent DiPasquale and Steven Lee now available on the web or on DVD

FaderPro.com and Auraleo Advanced Learning, producers of pioneering video training products, announce the availability of The Art of the Remix interactive training course. Formerly titled Remix It Like A Record, The Art of the Remix is taught by multi-platinum remixer/producer Vincent DiPasquale, together with world-renowned DJ, producer, and remixer Steven Lee, and created in collaboration with pioneering educator and Grammy-winning mixer Charles Dye. The course is available for users to stream over the web or on DVD.

The Art of the Remix is a comprehensive remixing course, where DiPasquale (Madonna, Nelly Furtado, Mariah Carey, Timbaland) and Lee (Lee-Cabrera, Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Strictly Rhythm) teach the art and craft of creating a cutting-edge, modern remix.

“Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to learn by working with some of the most talented producers on the planet,” continues DiPasquale. “And people are constantly asking me if they can sit in and watch during a remix. Now they can, as we remix a song together for an actual project.”

In this new course, the user will learn how to create infectiously powerful grooves, construct attention grabbing vocal edits, and develop trademark sonic treatments that really make a remix stand out. And all of these lessons are demonstrated using DiPasquale and Lee’s remix of Nadia Ali’s Billboard Top 10 club smash “Crash And Burn”.

The course includes more than 3 hours of video instruction and covers every aspect of remixing from dissecting the original song, the importance of tempo, time-stretching vocals, the beat and bass, to the creative aspects of remixing like creating feature and accent keyboard parts, understanding song and vocal arrangement, and creating energy, all culminating in the finished mix.

“What sets The Art of the Remix apart is that by following each step you’ll produce the exact same remix we did in the studio on your system,” says Lee. “Vince teaches you every single step of the process, and by following along with the provided sessions, you’ll be able to recreate the exact same result we delivered to the record label.”

The Art of the Remix is designed for new or experienced remixers, producers, engineers, or musicians who want to learn the inside secrets to getting big sounding remixes on any digital audio workstation.

Pricing and availability:

The Art of the Remix is available to stream over the web for $89 or on DVD for $99 (DVD purchases also include access to streaming)
