HOLLYWOOD–EASTWEST announced that it is no longer distributing Toontrack products. Utilizing its advanced 64-bit engine, EASTWEST is currently producing a series of new drum products — EASTWEST PRO DRUMMER — which it believes will conflict with Toontrack’s range of products.

“We pride ourselves in offering our clients and our distributed lines the utmost in service and support,” says EASTWEST founder and producer Doug Rogers. “With the introduction of EASTWEST‘s own drum line on the horizon, we felt that we could no longer promote Toontrack‘s product line to the level that they had come to expect.”

The EASTWEST PRO DRUMMER series will be released at Winter NAMM 2008 and will feature celebrity engineers. Doug Rogers is producing the series for EASTWEST.
